New York City based saxophonist & bandleader Adam Larson brings to the DiMenna Center a trio consisting of bassist Joshua Crumbly & drummer Jimmy Macbride, both of whom have served tenures in internationally renowned trumpeter Terrence Blanchard’s Band. For this intimate concert, Larson will be presenting newly penned compositions that feature this trio format, as well as compositions normally heard in Larson’s quintet, adapted for the trio formation.
