BOB AQUINO – Jazz Pianist & Composer. Bob is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music. Bob is the retired Chairman of Jazz Studies at Long Island University (New York). Bob’s composing credits include: the score of Cannes Film Festival short film “URSULA”, First Prize Recipient of Abraham Frost Composing Competition, pianist for theme music for sitcom SISTERS, pianist for several commercials, concerts at Steinway Hall (NYC) & Watchung Arts Center (New Jersey).
PROGRAM: music of Duke Ellington (“Sophisticated Lady”), Harold Arlen (“Ill Wind” – “Blues In The Night”), Cole Porter (“After You” – “All Through The Night”), Leonard Bernstein (“Some Other Time” – “Lucky To Be Me”) & original compositions.
