Hugo Wolf’s “Italienisches Liederbuch”

Hugo Wolf’s “Italienisches Liederbuch”, translated as Italian Songbook, is a set of 46 songs using the German translations of Italian poetry. Through his very unique compositional style, Wolf is able to make each poem come to life, creating its own musical & emotional world. The Songbook Set draws the audience into the joys, sorrows & frustrations of love from both the male & female perspective.
